Our Tiny Laundry Room (WonderWash + Nina Dryer Review)

Well, we found a use for the spare bathroom that we have... we've converted it into a laundry room!

The apartment that we're renting did come with a washer and dryer hook-up, but we really didn't want to spend the money to get a clunky washer and dryer (especially if we were going to just end up selling it not too far down the road).

So how did we turn our tiny spare bathroom into a laundry room? Let me introduce you to the WonderWash and the Nina Soft Spin Dryer!

Sching! *sparkle sparkle*

Apartment Hunting

We finally found an apartment to stay at until we find some property. Apartment hunting in Georgia has made me realize even more so how expensive living in California is.

Tiny House Tour

Will and I have been looking into tiny houses for a while now. I love the concept of a tiny house, because its affordability gives you complete ownership of your home without having to worry about a mortgage, and it's size allows you to be efficient with your space and utilities. You can't just go and buy a ton of stuff -- you have to think about what you really need, how functional it is, and how it will fit into the space you have (in other words, it'll keep me from being a pack rat). In addition to all that, you have the freedom to relocate and bring your whole house with you.

We recently were able to see one in person for the first time! We want to say thank you to Denise and Tom of Hummingbird Housing for showing us around their tiny home.

Update!

Well, if anyone has been following only this blog and not my Facebook, they would think that we got lost in New Orleans and fell off the grid. Ha! Well, for those of you who may not know, Andrew and I made it to Georgia!

We've been doing a bit of sight-seeing, but mostly hanging out and looking for an apartment to stay at until we find something permanent....
