We finally found an apartment to stay at until we find some property. Apartment hunting in Georgia has made me realize even more so how expensive living in California is.
We just leased a 2 bed/2 bath apartment here and rent is about 650/month. The studio that we were living in in California was just a little bigger than the living/dining room pictured above and it cost almost $1000/month. Gas is cheaper here too!
Eventually there will be a table in there and that's pretty much it... There's maybe ~4 closets, and a whole room that we won't really use, so it's definitely more space than we need, but it'll do for the time being. Plus, it's beautiful out here. The apartment complex is surrounded by pecan trees and we get to listen to all of the cicada chirping. :)
